Claudeheads is a free, independently run directory of the best educational resources for Anthropic's Claude AI. It collects the top Claude educators, official Anthropic documentation, prompt engineering guides, courses, video tutorials and AI tools, all hand-curated and organised in one place. It is a community fan project and is not affiliated with Anthropic.
Claude Code is Anthropic's command-line coding agent. It runs in your terminal, reads and edits files in your project, executes commands, and connects to external tools through MCP (the Model Context Protocol). Claudeheads links to Anthropic's official Claude Code 101 course and to creator tutorials covering installation, terminal setup and the Explore → Plan → Code → Commit workflow.
Anthropic has never made a big formal announcement of the name, but the answer everyone lands on is Claude Shannon — the mathematician who wrote the 1948 paper that founded information theory, and who is about as close as computing gets to a patron saint. It is also just a warm, slightly old-fashioned human name, which suits an assistant you are meant to talk to rather than operate. Claudeheads has no inside knowledge here; we are fans, not staff.
Yes! They are all excellent in their own ways, and most people who are serious about this work end up using more than one. Claudeheads is a Claude site because that is what we know best and what we enjoy, not because we think everything else is beneath it. Plenty of the tools and techniques listed here transfer to other models, and where a resource is model-agnostic we say so.
Yes! Send it to [email protected] — the link, who it is for, and a line on why it is worth someone’s time. Suggesting your own work is completely fine and is not held against you. The directory is hand-curated so we cannot promise to list everything, and nobody pays to appear: no sponsored placements, no affiliate links, no exceptions.
No problem — shoot us an email at [email protected] and we will take care of it. If you are the person or company being listed, or you represent them, your listing comes down on request: no reason required, no argument, no legal letter needed. We aim to action removals within five working days and usually faster. If you would rather it were fixed than removed — a different description, a different image, a link somewhere else — say so and we will do that instead. The full detail is in the terms of use.
No. Claudeheads is an independent fan project, not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Anthropic. It links to official Anthropic resources alongside third-party ones, and everything on it is educational — nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice.
